Turning to photography as a creative outlet during a valiant fight with breast cancer at age 34, renaissance10 survived and set up a photo contest to help raise funds for the Lavender Trust, a nonprofit that provides information and support to younger women with breast cancer. In the first two years, the competition brought in over £65,000 (that's $107,260.73 U.S.!), with entries from 130 countries last year. Renaissance10 recently joined LiveJournal to meet other passionate photographers and find supportive friends.

Упродовж 1991—2007 років до Служби безпеки України надійшли десятки запитів та звернень від політичних та громадських діячів і родини Головного командира УПА з проханням надати інформацію про місце поховання Романа Шухевича. Однак документів про те, що вчинили з тілом Шухевича, виявити не вдалося. Адже від 13–томної оперативно–розшукової справи МГБ на нього, де вони могли б зберігатись, лишився один том, решту знищили. Перше розслідування щодо місця поховання генерал–хорунжого СБ організувала на початку 1990–х років, за часів головування Євгена Марчука. Виявилося, що комендант УМГБ Львівської області Климчук, який займався похованням тіл убитих учасників ОУН(б), помер у 1991 році. Інші опитані колишні співробітники УМГБ Львівської області про поховання Шухевича нічого не знали або мовчали. Розкопки на території Управління СБУ у Львівській області результатів не дали.
